Escapism.

Because reality really, truly, completely bites right now, I've been indulging in much escapism by ogling the newly-redesigned Ped Shoes site. If it was possible to live inside of a website, this is where I would choose to live.

Ped's brick-and-mortar location in Seattle is no more, but the fabulous shoes live on via e-commerce. That is, for those who can afford them. There once was a time, long long ago, when I took special trips to Seattle *just to buy shoes* at Ped - but alas, the economy has changed and the change has affected me negatively.

But I can still dream. And as long as I'm dreaming and not really shopping, I can dream of being able to wear shoes with heels - in real life, it's pointless to even try.

That's just a small sampling, each more gorgeous than the next. But as I have no intention to quit dreaming, I'll probably post a few more. All the while, of course, dreaming of a better-paying job!
